Mr Daisuke Muraoka was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jurong Engineering Limited on 1 April 2026.

Before assuming his present role, Mr Muraoka served as Head of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Group within the Finance & Accounting Division at IHI Corporation. From April 2025 to March 2026, he led the newly established FP&A Group, overseeing strategic financial planning, enterprise forecasting, and performance management to support executive decision-making.

Mr Muraoka started his career at IHI Corporation in 2003 as a Development Engineer within the Project Department of the Power System Business Unit. Over the course of his career, he assumed various roles within this business unit. From May 2019 to March 2024, Mr Muraoka was seconded to the EPC Centre at Jurong Engineering. He initially served as Technical Proposal Manager and Technical Adviser, and in 2021 he was promoted to Head of Department (Process & Equipment) at the EPC Centre.

Mr Muraoka holds a Master of Engineering degree from Yokohama National University in Japan.
