Mr Chan Swee Huat was appointed Director of Jurong Engineering Limited on 1 April 2026.

Since 2022, Mr Chan has been serving as Adviser to IHI Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of IHI Corporation, a major Japanese conglomerate listed on the Nikkei 225. He has also been serving as an adviser to Provident Bioenergy Pte Ltd since 2024. He has been a board member of Green Alpha Bioenergy Pte Ltd, Devmalla Materials Pte Ltd and 4M Networking Advisors Pte Ltd since 2024.

Mr Chan was the Chief Executive Officer of the YTL PowerSeraya Group from 2013 to 2019. He first joined the PowerSeraya Group in 2001 and headed the Business Development Group. He subsequently held several roles prior to his appointment as CEO, including Senior Vice President of the Trading & Fuel Management Group and Vice President of the Power Generation Group, and was involved in business development, strategic planning, and the management of power plant assets.

In 2018, Mr Chan was awarded the Comrade of Labour Award by the National Trades Union Congress at the May Day Awards ceremony, in recognition of his significant contributions to Singapore’s Labour Movement.
