First Volunteering with Food Bank Singapore

In Singapore, an estimated 1 in 10 households have suffered from at least one instance of food insecurity in the last 12 months. From this, only a worrying 22% of households receive food support. Hence, Food Bank Singapore not only aims to close the gaps by offering support but also to end food insecurity in Singapore. One of their key initiatives involves accepting food donations, which are then distributed to those in need.

To contribute, our staff volunteered with Food Bank Singapore. During the session, the volunteers assisted in organizing donations, conducting inventory checks, and packing food boxes destined for households requiring assistance.

We eagerly anticipate future opportunities to support this important cause!
