Celebrating World Oceans Day

Partnering with the Ocean Purpose Project, we embarked on a transformative coastal cleanup at Pasir Ris Beach that went beyond mere litter collection. Our dedicated volunteers gathered an impressive 146kg of waste, including seaweed, which was meticulously sorted. Plastic waste was earmarked for conversion into fuel, while collected seaweed was destined to be composted into nutrient-rich soil and transformed into biodegradable plastics.

Throughout this initiative, volunteers not only witnessed the remarkable potential of seaweed but also gained a deeper appreciation for the diverse marine life thriving in Singaporean waters.

The Ocean Purpose Project’s unwavering commitment serves as a beacon of hope for ocean preservation and remediation efforts worldwide.
